What KO takes
- Orders: total, currency, payment status, cancellation
- Line items and discounts
- Refunds, with date and amount
- Customers and their past orders
- What Shopify saved about the visit: landing page, referring site and tags
We connect Shopify on request. KO links store orders to the ads that brought the buyer and takes refunds into account. The report shows which campaigns pay off in revenue.
What KO takes
Terms on this page: Sale, Attributed revenue, Return on marketing investment
KO connects through the Shopify Admin API and only reads orders and customers. The store tells KO about new orders and refunds at once (webhooks).
The purchase happens on the Shopify side
The buyer pays in the Shopify checkout. A website tracking code does not always see the purchase itself. So KO takes the order from Shopify, because this is more reliable. KO learns where the buyer came from by what the store saved about the visit.
A refund comes after the sale
When a buyer gets a refund, the order revenue goes down later. KO takes refunds together with orders. Campaign revenue in the report is already minus refunds.
An order has no tags
If Shopify saved no tags for an order, KO puts it in the "no source" group. You see the share of such orders above the Leads journal. If it grows, you notice at once.
Orders stop coming
If data from Shopify stops while other data still comes in, a card appears in What to do now. You learn about the stop before you see a drop in revenue in the report.
Send a request: we will check which data you need and connect it.
In the demo, ad accounts, a CRM and a website already feed the same reports. Open them and see what you learn when spend, leads and deals are in one place.
No sign-up, no payment

You'll meet the founders, not a sales rep — we built KO after years of running growth on broken numbers.
